Join the Google Developer Group on campus at the University of Guelph for a weekend dedicated to creating innovative projects.
During GDG Hacks 3, our goal is to introduce people to the exciting world of programming and AI. We aim to assist students in further developing their coding capabilities while converting their ideas into an innovative and revolutionary project that will ultimately make a positive impact within the world!
NOTE: Registering on Devpost does not give you access to the event, you must be admitted to GDG Hacks 3 through our application process in order to attend.

Requirements
To qualify for judging, all participants must submit their project through Devpost before the deadline.
Each submission must include:
- A working project (prototype, app, website, etc.) built during the hackathon
- A public code repository, with any relevant setup instructions included
- A short demo video (1–3 minutes) showcasing your project
- Preferably, a live link to a deployment of your project!
Projects will be judged based on: 1. Technical Execution (25%) 2. Innovation & Creativity (25%) 3. Impact & Usefulness (25%) 4. Presentation & Demo (25%)
Teams can consist of up to 2-4 members. Pre-existing code is allowed only for basic setup (e.g., boilerplate, libraries). Usage of generative AI tools for responsible development is allowed.
